A HEART FOR DEVELOPMENT

Whether large or small, if you have a sound strategy for developing your idea to the social or spiritual benefit of Mt Albert residents in need, Muriel Kerr Taylor’s legacy may be able to help you get it off the ground, or propel you forward.
On The Inside
WHAT WE OFFER
Aunt Muriel with family
Like all but one of her sisters, Muriel Kerr Taylor never married, but was a well loved Aunt who, with her sisters, hosted many of her Kerr Taylor family at Alberton House. Muriel was warm, fun loving and encouraging to all. The Kerr Taylor Foundation operates in a similar spirit, supporting those who need it most.
In the 1970’s Muriel contributed $30,000 to establish the Foundation. Through wise and careful investment, the capital has seen exceptional growth and is now able to generate sufficient income to enable annual grants to be made to initiatives that provide services for people denied the quality of life most of us enjoy. Grants have ranged from $500 to more than $3,000 in seed funding. More than $100,000 in grants have been distributed over the years.
